A man is arrested on multiple felony charges, including homicide, after refusing to leave a Garden City hotel last week.

Garden City Police were called to the Emerald Inn and Suites last Wednesday evening after staff reported a man was refusing to leave the property. Upon arrival, officers identified the suspect as 61-year-old James Eaton and discovered Eaton was wanted for homicide in the state of Maryland. Eaton was taken into custody and booked into the Finney County Jail.
