A recent Coffeyville Community College graduate wins a truck at a roping event in Oklahoma.

Son of the CCC Rodeo Coach and 2025 Graduate Cutter Weil competed in the All Star Team Roping Finals in Gutherie. He competed in the largest roping event of the week, featuring more than 1,500 teams. Weil placed third and fourth in the average and secured the title of High Point Roper winning him a brand-new 2025 Ford F-350 truck.

Weil completed CCC’s Automotive Technology program and plans to continue his education in automotive service this fall at Pittsburg State University.
