A house fire in Miami leaves one person with minor injuries.

 

The Miami Fire Department responded to a call of a house fire on Thursday in the 1000 block of I Street Northwest. Firefighters quickly brought the small fire under control, leaving minor damage to the kitchen and one other room in the home. One adult female occupant received minor burns. She was treated at a nearby hospital and released.

 

No other injuries were reported.
