A manhunt is underway in Wichita as police are looking for the suspect in a homicide at a hospital yesterday evening.

 

Police say the incident occurred when a vehcle pulled up out side of Wesley Medical Center around 7pm yesterday evening. A woman exited the vehicle after what appeared to be a disturbance inside the car. As the woman got out of the car, a male in the vehicle began shooting at her and then fled the scene. The woman was taken into the hospital, where she later died.

 

Police are looking for the suspect who has been identified as Robert Schoenberger. He is described as over 6 feet tall with a slim build and has long blond hair and a gray beard. He was last seen wearing a blue t-shirt, blue jeans, and blue sneakers. Police say Schoenberger was on parole and had cut off his ankle monitor. He is considered armed and dangerous.

 

Anyone who has information on Schoenberger or thinks they may have seen him should not approach him and should call 9-1-1.
