The City of Coffeyville is launching a new beautification initiative.
Organizers say the effort, called “Coffeyville Proud,” aims to reflect the city's commitment to community pride and service by bringing together city employees and volunteers to make a visible impact in Coffeyville.
The first event for Coffeyville Proud will be this Friday, August 15th from 8 to noon. Around 40 city staff and volunteers will tackle several projects, including painting fire hydrants, painting decorative balls at the Early Learning Center and Board Office, picking up trash on Hall Street, cleaning under the 11th Street underpass, cleaning along several streets and picking up limbs.
