A Jay, Oklahoma, man is arrested by Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation agents after a search reveals possible evidence of illegal materials of a sexual nature.
Investigators made contact with 36-year-old Bruce Murray at his workplace last Thursday after the search warrants were executed. At that time, authorities say Murray admitted to possessing and distributing child sexual abuse material. The search came after O-S-B-I received a cybertip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.
Based on that information and evidence obtained during the search, Murray was arrested and booked into the Delaware County Jail on two counts of Possession of Child Sexual Abuse Material, one count of Distribution of Child Sexual Abuse Material, and Violation of the Oklahoma Computer Crimes Act.
The O-S-B-I Internet Crimes Against Children Unit was joined in the investigation by the Grove Police Department and the Delaware County Sheriff’s Department.
The investigation remains ongoing.
