The USD 447 Cherryvale-Thayer School Board will meet tonight in preparation for the first day of classes in that district on August 21.
On tonight’s agenda, Board members are expected to approve the second reading of the District Crisis Plan for the upcoming school year as well as one of the District Needs Assessment for Fiscal Year 2026. There will also be a first reading of the Substitute Handbook. The Board will also hear updates from building principals from Lincoln Central, Thayer Schools, and Cherryvale Middle/High School in the run-up to the new school year. There will also be an executive session to discuss non-elected personnel.
Tonight’s meeting begins at 7pm in the library at the high school, and it is open to the public.
