Events are underway at the fairgrounds for the Inter-State Fair and Rodeo.
Today will bring livestock check-in and judging during much of the day, after the barns opened yesterday.
The bake sale will take place tonight at 6 p.m. at the recreation center in Walter Johnson Park, followed by the fitting contest in the livestock arena at 6:30.
Tomorrow brings the PRCA Rodeo Slack and the swine show, both at 8 a.m. Evening entertainment includes the start of grandstand events with LJ Jenkins Bull Riding. The carnival will also open at 6 p.m. All events take place at the fairgrounds in Walter Johnson Park.
