Severe storms are moving through the KGGF listening area, with a chance continuing for all of southeast Kansas and a portion of northeast Oklahoma through 9 p.m. tonight.
The strongest storms will be capable of large hail up to quarter size, damaging winds up to 60 mph and heavy rainfall. Additional storms are expected across the entire area after midnight with a marginal risk of severe weather development.
In addition, a flood watch has been issued for several counties in southeast Kansas including: Allen, Chautauqua, Elk, Greenwood, Wilson and Woodson through 7 a.m. Monday. Coffeyville currently has a 79% chance of one or more inch of rain.
