The Sedan City Council is asking for public input on next year's budget and the revenue neutral rate.
The City will hold a public hearing on the revenue-neutral rate at its September 2nd meeting. However, Council member Adam Clark says he would like to hear input from Sedan citizens before that meeting.
Sedan residents are asked to attend the August 19th City Council meeting or to contact a council member to share their thoughts on next year's budget. In other business, the council also discussed changes to the city ordinance concerning the use of golf carts, ATVs, and UTVs on city streets. Police Chief Kirk Richardson says the changes will reduce fees and change requirements from a sticker to a license plate.
In other business, the council accepted the resignation of Council member Sharon Payne and appointed Pam Koerner to the vacant seat.
