A head-on collision along the Kansas/Missouri line north of Galena leaves one man dead.
The accident occurred just before 10pm Wednesday night when a 2018 Toyota Tacoma driven by 70-year-old Dale Fillenwarth of Carl Junction, Missouri, was traveling northbound on Southeast 118th Street. Fillenwarth failed to yield to traffic at the junction with Southeast Old 96 Road and his vehicle collided with a semi truack diven by 38-year-old Matthew Mussati of Jay, Oklahoma.
Fillenwarth sustained fatal injuries in the crash while Mussati was uninjured.
