One person is injured in a single-vehicle accident in Bourbon County.

A 15-year-old Fort Scott boy sustained minor injuries last night in a crash on Jayhawk Road, just southwest of the City of Fort Scott. The boy's vehicle crossed the center line of the roadway while traveling eastbound about two miles west of US-69 when he crossed the center line into the oncoming lane of traffic. The driver overcorrected and went off the road to the right, where the vehicle overturned.

The boy was taken to Mercy Hospital in Pittsburg for treatment for his injuries. He remains unidentified due to his age.
