A car chase involving an Oklahoma State Trooper leads to the arrest of two murder suspects.
Just after 1pm Tuesday, an Oklahoma Highway Patrol Trooper located a vehicle near Sapulpa believed to be stolen and connected to a murder investigation in Creek County. The trooper attempted to make a traffic stop, but the driver fled, leading the trooper on a chase through rural county roads northwest of Sapulpa. The trooper then used a Tactical Vehicle Intervention to bring the chase to an end. All three suspects in the vehicle were taken into custody.
The driver was identified as 31-year-old Colton Beisly, and the female suspect as 37-year-old Elizabeth McLendon. A second female passenger was later released. Both Beisly and McLendon were booked into the Creek County Jail and will be transported to Oklahoma County to face accessory to murder charges.
