The last of four 12-and-under Little League teams vying for a berth in the Little League World Series is eliminated from play.

 

The Oklahoma team from Tulsa fell in the semi-final round of the Southwest Regional tournament yesterday, losing to Texas East 5 to 2. The team was just two games away from securing a spot in the Little League World Series, coming up later this month in Williamsport, Pennsylvania. Arkansas lost both of their games in the Southwest tournament in Waco, Texas.

 

The Kansas team from Pittsburg and the Missouri team from Webb City were also eliminated in the early rounds of the Midwest Regional tournament in Indiana.
