The driver of a dump truck is dead following a rollover accident in northeastern Kansas.

 

68-year-old Leslie Kendig of Osawatomie died yesterday morning when his dump truck overturned after striking another vehicle. Kendig was traveling north on K-7 near Overland Park when he drifted left and into another northbound lane of traffic. There, he struck the end of a trailer being towed by an F-350. Kendig overcorrected to the right and entered the ditch, where his vehicle rolled, claiming Kedig's life.

 

The other driver was uninjured.
