The Cherokee Nation will be in South Coffeyville next week helping citizens with housing, education and IDs.
Native American Fellowships Inc's Kris Crane says the event is on Tuesday, August 12th. Crane says for those wanting an ID all they need to bring is their blue card.
Crane says the Cherokee ID cards are federally recognized just like a driver's license or a passport. An event will also be held the following Monday and Tuesday at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Catoosa.
