With Coffeyville Regional Medical Center's new primary care clinic nearing completion, another project is in the works.
CRMC Foundation Director Amy Taylor says the EMS Facility and Equipment Project will involve the construction of a new building west of the main hospital entrance on the empty lot north of the current gravel parking lot.
Taylor says a new ambulance and transport vehicle will also be purchased as part of this project.
Preliminary estimates put the project cost at 2.2 million, with over 70% funded by federal tax credits. The project is expected to start this fall.
