Two people are injured following a two-vehicle accident Friday morning in Greenwood County near Severy.
The accident occurred around 11:30 when a 2005 Ford 500 driven by 40-year-old Elizabeth Botts of Neodesha failed to yield at a stop sign at the junction of K-99 and US-400. Her vehicle then struck a 2021 Buick Enclave driven by 45-year-old Myrna Barnett of Fredonia. Botts was seriously injured in the crash and was taken to Wesley Medical Center in Wichita. A 13-year-old child in Barnett’s vehicle sustained minor injuries and was taken to a hospital in Eureka. Barnett and another juvenile in her vehicle were uninjured.
