Due to tree damage from the storm last night in Elk County, the Howard brush dump will be open through the weekend.

 

Only trees and brush from property within the City of Howard are allowed as the dump is financed by taxes paid by those property owners.

 

The Sedan Brush Dump will also be open today and tomorrow.

 

No lumber or other trash can be in the brush dump or the City can be fined by the Kansas Department of Health and Environment.
