The Osage County Fair board is seeking additional funding.

 

At this week's Osage County Commission Meeting, Free Fair Board member Dee Chambers asked Commissioners for additional funding earlier this year.

 

Chambers says with the free fair being so close to the start of the fiscal year, it's difficult to order trophies and ribbons if they don't have the necessary funds. Chambers says an additional $10,000 is needed this year after items in storage were damaged.

 

No action was taken at Monday's meeting as the Excise Board will examine this issue tomorrow.
