One is dead after a two vehicle crash in Mayes County.

The crash happened at around 1:00pm yesterday afternoon on Highway 28, about eight miles east of Adair. The collision involved a 2023 Coach RV driven by 68-year-old Ronald Lindstrom of Palm Desert, California, and a 2011 Ford F-150 driven by 54-year-old Gregory Peacock of Vinita.

Lindstrom was airlifted to St. John Tulsa in stable condition with head and torso injuries. Peacock was pronounced dead after being transported to the hospital. Two juvenile passengers in the F-150, a 10-year-old girl and a 9-year-old boy, both of Vinita, were not injured. The cause of the accident is under investigation.
