Two Arkansas Medical Students Killed in Oklahoma Crash

 

Two Arkansas medical students are killed in a weekend car accident in Oklahoma.

 

31-year-old Hannah Ford of Osborn, Missouri, and 39-year-old Megan Herrold of Fort Smith, Arkansas, died in a two-vehicle accident on the Muskogee Turnpike in Muskogee County. Both were students at the Arkansas Colleges of Health Education in Fort Smith.

 

The driver of the second vehicle, a 2013 Ford Expedition, along with five children who were passengers in the SUV were taken to an area hospital with unknown injuries. According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, the children included a 6-year-old girl, three 2-year-old boys, and a 1-year-old boy.

 

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
