Independence Community College invites families and community members to join them for Pirates in the Park.
The event is Friday, August 16th, from 5:00pm to 8:00pm at Riverside Park. It is a free event and open to the public. It will feature games, rides and snacks. Guests will have the opportunity to meet ICC’s student-athletes before they kick off the fall season and connect with college faculty and staff.
ICC President Dr. Jonathan Sadhoo says this is their way of giving back to the community and celebrating the amazing support they receive each year. He says as they celebrate their 100th year, it’s important for them to honor their legacy and the community that has helped shape it.
