Authorities in northwest Arkansas are looking for a suspect in a double homicide that occurred at Devil’s Den State Park on Saturday afternoon. The Arkansas State Police say 43-year-old Clinton David Brink and his wife, 41-year-old Cristen Amanda Brink were found deceased on a walking trail in the park located in Washington County, or about 27 miles north of Fort Smith. The couple's children – ages 7 and 9 – were with the couple when the incident occurred but were uninjured. The children are safe and in the custody of relatives.
A-S-P has identified the suspect in the case as an unknown white male who was last seen wearing dark shorts, a long sleeved shirt with the sleeves rolled up, and weight-lifting type gloves. He was spotted exiting the park in a dark, four-door sedan that may be a Mazda with duct tape or electrical tape covering the license plate.
The deceased individuals have been taken to the Arkansas State Crime Lab in Little Rock to determine the cause and manner of death.
