Public Works Project on Agenda for Montgomery County Commission

 

The Montgomery County Commission is set to meet today as they address a brief agenda.

 

Public Works Director Brandon Beurskins will appear before the commission to update the commission on the intersection of County Road 4700 and County Road 1450, locally known as South Buckeye and James School Road in Coffeyville. Beurskins will also give his quarterly report. Commissioners will also hear quarterly reports from County Clerk Ami Standridge and about Community Corrections from Dennis Webb. In other business, commissioners are also expected to sign a letter of support for the Southeast Kansas Regional Juvenile Detention Center’s proposed addition of secure care beds to its facility in Girard.

 

Today’s meeting begins at 9am in the Commission Room on the lower level of the Judicial Center in Independence. The public is invited to attend in person or to view the meeting online via the County’s website.
