Authorities in Scott City in western Kansas are investigating the death of a public works employee last week.

25-year-old Chase Cupp was found dead at the city's water tower by another city employee on July 18. Cupp was a long-time employee of the City. He began working part-time while he was still in high school and moved into a full-time role after graduation.

While foul play is not suspected, authorities are investigating the incident.
