A Pittsburg woman faces theft charges after allegedly stealing items from a Casey's location in Crawford County.

Authorities have charged 43-year-old Crystal R. Stevens with theft of property or services and interference with law enforcement after an incident at a Casey's convenience store in Pittsburg. Officers from the Pittsburg Police Department were notified that a female suspect had stolen several items from the store and then made threats to employees who were working there. Officers then located Stevens nearby and made contact with her. She refused to comply, and officers deployed a taser in order to make the arrest.

Stevens will appear in a Crawford County courtroom on August 14 to face her charges.
