The school year is just around the corner and one non-profit organization is looking for host families for exchange students.

 

High school students from all over the world travel to the United States each year to experience anywhere from a few months to an entire year of living in the U.S. The Oregon-based non-profit Pan Atlantic Foundation is currently looking for host families for the upcoming school year. Volunteer Janie Aita says they are still looking for families in southeast Kansas.

 

Aita says those interested in hosting a student need to pass a background check and meet a few requirements.
