If you're a fan of county fairs, this is your weekend.
At the Labette County Fair, bull riding kicks off tonight with gates open at 7 and bull riding at 8. The Bill and Shirley McKinzie Memorial Livestock Sale will also be this afternoon at 4 p.m. The Demo Derby is coming up tomorrow with a $13,500 payout. Gates open at 6 p.m. in Oswego.
At the Wilson County Fair, the sheep show is tonight at 7 p.m., which will be followed by the Brian Knowles concert at 9. Tomorrow will start with a pancake feed at 8:30 and the Farm Bureau Pedal Pull at 11:30, plus the watermelon feed at 1 in Fredonia.
The rodeo starts tonight and tomorrow at 8 p.m. at the Chautauqua County Fair, and the parade will take place tomorrow around 10 a.m. in Sedan.
The Neosho County Fair continues all weekend in Erie, with a market goat show tonight at 5 and several livestock shows tomorrow.
Setup and judging take place today for the Montgomery County Fair, followed by the 4-H food auction tonight at 6, followed by the swine show at 8 in Independence.
