The Dewey Fire Department stops a fire before it can fully spread to other structures.

Dewey FD says the fire started just before 4:00am this morning. Firefighters arrived at the scene and found a camper fully engulfed in flames and getting near the house.

They were able to extinguish the camper fire, but there was some damage to a portion of the home's roof. No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
