County fairs continue around southeast Kansas this week.

 

At the Labette County fair in Oswego, there will be a poultry show this morning at 9 a.m. followed by the bucket calf show tonight at 5 and the beef show at 6. The ACRA/IPRA and Open Rodeo will take place tonight and tomorrow with gates open at 7 followed by the muttin bustin' at 7:30 and the rodeo at 8.

 

No events are scheduled today for the Chautauqua County Fair or Wilson County Fairs today, but check-in of entries will take place in both counties tomorrow.

 

King and Queen Coronation will take place tonight for the Montgomery County Fair followed by the public style revue and dance. Events tonight take place in the Wesley Center at 111 E Maple in Independence.
