A Fort Scott man is injured in a motorcycle accident in Bourbon County.

23-year-old Caleb Morris was seriously injured Friday evening when he lost control of his 2025 Kawasaki Ninja motorcycle while traveling on Maple Road just west of the City of Fort Scott. Morris was taken to Mercy Hospital in Joplin for medical treatment.

Authorities continue to investigate the cause of the accident.
