Three teens are in custody following a Wednesday morning shooting in Garden City that has left one of the victims dead.

 

Police were called to the scene of a Garden City apartment complex around 5:30 on Wednesday morning, where they found a 19-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound. The man was taken to the local hospital, where emergency room staff later reported that two more victims – a 23-year-old man and a 17-year-old boy – were dropped off at the hospital in a private vehicle.

The 23-year-old - later identified as Brayden Becker – died from his injuries. The other two victims remain in serious condition.

 

Three suspects have been arrested in connection to the shooting. 19-year-old Michael Lara, along with two juveniles, were taken into custody yesterday and are currently being held in juvenile and adult facilities.

 

The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
