The Mirza Shriners will be holding a free orthopedic screening clinic for area children in Pittsburg on Monday.
Children with bone, muscle or joint problems will be evaluated to see if their conditions are treatable at the Shriner's Children's hospital in St. Louis. The screening clinic will be held from 9am to noon on Monday at the Mirza Shrine Center, located at 110 West 5th Street in Pittsburg. Appointments can be made by calling 620-231-4180.
Shriners Children's Hospitals provide comprehensive medical care for children up to age 21 with orthopedic conditions regardless of their family's ability to pay. Shriners Hospitals for Children are nonprofit organizations that rely on the generosity of donors. All donations are tax-deductible as allowed by law.
