The Kansas Department of Health and Environment has issued a boil water advisory for the City of Moran public water supply in Allen County.

The order was issued due to a loss of pressure in the system caused by a power outage yesterday. Customers of the City of Moran public water supply should boil water for a full minute prior to consumption or use bottled water instead. Dispose of ice cubes from trays and automatic ice makers and disinfect dishes and food preparation surfaces. The water is safe for bathing.

This advisory will remain in effect until further notice.
