Multiple departments respond to a structure fire in Montgomery County.

Yesterday afternoon around 12:20, Wilson County Rural Fire and Neodesha Fire and Rescue were paged for mutual aid on a structure fire in northern Montgomery County. Upon arrival, units found heavy smoke coming out of the house. Neodesha fire made an interior attack and a dog was located. Firefighters removed the dog and gave it oxygen. It was later transported to a vet and is reported in good condition. No one was home at the time of the fire.
