The Neodesha Fire Department responds to a fire at a Neodesha Apartment complex on Tuesday night.

 

Fire crews were called to the 600 block of Ohio Street around 10:40pm on Tuesday, where they discovered a kitchen fire in one of the units with smoke visible. Neodesha Fire was able to quickly bring the blaze under control. Neodesha EMS also responded to the call and transported one person to Wilson Medical Center to be treated for smoke inhalation.

 

Neodesha Police and Fredonia EMS also assisted on the call.

 

Also on Tuesday, fire crews were dispatched to 6480 County Road 4700 for reports of a tractor on fire in Montgomery County, about 4 miles southeast of Neodesha. The fire was quickly extinguished, but the tractor was a total loss. The operator was uninjured.
