A 17-year-old girl is uninjured after a train strikes her vehicle.

According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, the incident happened yesterday around 6:15 p.m. on East 515th Avenue southeast of Pittsburg. KHP says the teen was heading west and attempted to drive through an activated railroad crossing arm. A southbound train collided with her Ford Escape.

The teen was wearing a seat belt and had no apparent injury.
