A Grove, Oklahoma, man is sentenced in federal court on child pornography charges.

 

24-year-old Dakota Austin Clark was sentenced to 20 years in prison this week for possession and production of child pornography in Indian County. As a part of his sentence, Clark will also be subject to 15 years of supervised release and be required to register as a sex offender.

 

Clark's conviction stems from 2023 when prosecutors say he began communicating via social media with a 14-year-old girl. During the investigation, authorities learned that Clark had coerced the girl to produce explicit photos and that he was also in possession of hundreds of similar, illegal images.

 

The case was investigated by the Grove Police Department, the Department of Homeland Security, and the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
