A candidate for Kansas governor will make a campaign stop in Sedan on Monday.
Cindy Holscher will speak about her vision for the state and answer questions at the Sedan Senior Center on Monday afternoon. Holscher is vying to be the Democratic candidate for Governor in 2026. At Monday's event, Holscher will introduce her campaign priorities that include investing in public education, protecting Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid, and providing tax relief for working-class Kansas families.
The Overland Park Democrat was first elected to the Kansas House of Representatives in 2016 and then moved on to the State Senate in 2020, where she currently serves as the Senate Minority Whip.
Monday's event will take place from 3 to 5pm at the Sedan Senior Center, located at 124 East Main Street in Sedan.
