Two Independence juveniles face felony charges stemming from a Monday night incident.
Independence Police were called to a location in the 100 block of West Main Street just before 7pm on Monday evening after receiving reports of a burglary. Following an investigation, two 15-year-old males were identified as suspects in the case. Both boys were located and arrested. Each face charges of Burglary, Felony Interference with Law Enforcement, Criminal Damage, and Criminal Trespass. They were processed and released.
Later that evening, one of the suspects was arrested again in the 600 block of South Penn for allegedly shooting a BB gun at other people. That suspect faces additional charges of Aggravated Battery, Aggravated Assault, and Child Endangerment.
The suspects have not been named due to their age.
