Osage Co. to Use CRBI Funds to Repair Roads

Osage County, Oklahoma, has $3.9 million in excess County Bridge and Road Improvement funds that they have been saving for a rainy day.

At this week's Osage County Commission meeting, commissioners discussed how those funds could be used. Commissioner Steve Talburt says he thinks the time is now to use that money to make road improvements.

Commissioner Charlie Cartwright says he has a project for which the funds could be used.

Commissioners then approved a measure to allow each district to use $200,000 in an effort to improve Osage County roads. In other business, commissioners signed the treasurer's annual S-A & I report and the treasurer's yearly financial statement.

The Osage County Commission will have its next regularly scheduled meeting at 10am next Monday at the fairgrounds in Pawhuska.
