Several area fire agencies respond to a weekend blaze in Coffeyville.
Crews from the Coffeyville Fire Department and Dearing Fire responded to reports of a structure fire in the area on East 6th and Pine Streets in Coffeyville around 1am on Sunday morning. When crews arrived on the scene, they found a structure fully engulfed in flames. The fire was brought under control and extinguished with Coffeyville Truck 1 deploying its aerial apparatus for the first time outside of training.
The structure was vacant at the time and was destroyed in the fire. There were no injuries reported. Coffeyville Police, Montgomery County Sheriff's Office, and CRMC-EMS assisted on the call.
