The Kansas Department of Transportation announces the latest round of bids awarded for projects on roadways in southeast Kansas.
KDOT has approved a grading and resurfacing project on US-160 from its junction with US-169, headed east to a point approximately two miles from the Labette County line. The project will affect 2.7 miles of roadway. The funds were awarded to Wildcat Construction of Wichita for $8.7 million.
Also approved was a bridge replacement in Bourbon County on K-3 over the Little Osage River, located about 2 miles south of the Bourbon/Linn county line. That project was awarded to Bridges, Inc, of Newton, KS, for $4.1 million.
