A 29-year-old Pittsburg man is killed in a motorcycle accident in southwest Missouri.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Christuffer Roeder was killed last Thursday evening when the motorcycle he was riding rear-ended a Toyota pickup truck at highway speeds. Roeder was traveling on US-43 near the intersection with Kafir Road just north of Webb City. When the truck slowed to make a turn, the two vehicles collided. The 77-year-old driver of the truck sustained minor injuries and was treated at a nearby hospital.
