One Killed, Two Seriously Inured in Western Kansas Crash

 

A two-vehicle accident in western Kansas on Friday morning leaves one person dead and two others with serious injuries.

 

The accident occurred around 9:15 Friday morning at the intersection of Southwest 50th Street and Southwest 20th Avenue or about 5 miles south of the City of Pratt. The crash involved a 2015 Buick Encore driven by 21-year-old Riley Prosser and a 1962 Chevy truck driven by 35-year-old Christopher Sanders. Both vehicles entered the intersection of the roads at the same time and collided. Prosser sustained fatal injuries while Sanders was taken to Ascension Via Christi St. Francis in Wichita with serious injuries. A passenger in Sanders’ truck, 18-year-old Jordan House, also received serious injuries. He was taken to the Pratt Regional Medical Center for treatment. All three victims were residents of Pratt. None were wearing seat belts.
