The Kansas Department of Transportation is making some emergency repairs to a bridge on K-7 in Bourbon County.

The bridge is over Mill Creek between US-54 and K-31, about 5 miles south of Devon. Extreme heat resulted in damage to the bridge deck, prompting the emergency repairs. The bridge is currently closed to through traffic, and motorists are urged to find alternate routes through the area.
