The Oklahoma Highway Patrol releases traffic statistics for the July 4th holiday weekend.
Over the long weekend, O-H-P reports a total of three fatal crashes resulting in four total fatalities. Troopers also responded to to 30 injury accidents and assisted 175 motorists. There were 13 felony arrests made in addition to 25 DUI arrests. O-H-P also cited 68 drivers for distracted driving and issued 183 citations for seat belt violations.
Troopers made a total of nearly 2,000 enforcement stops during the reporting period.
