A single-vehicle crash near Duenweg in southwest Missouri claims the life of a Carthage teen.
18-year-old Aidden Lambeth was pronounced dead at the scene of an accident that occurred around 5am yesterday morning. The Missouri State Highway Patrol says Lambeth was traveling in a 2001 Ford F-150 when he failed to stop at a posted stop sign. The vehicle then left the roadway to the right. The driver then overcorrected, causing the truck to leave the roadway to the left, where it overturned and struck a tree.
Firefighters were called to the scene to free Lambeth from the wreckage. He was later pronounced deceased by the Jasper County Coroner.
