The Kansas Highway Patrol assists 618 motorists over the Fourth of July weekend.
The KHP releases its Independence Day Holiday Activity Report. The reporting period for the holiday ran from 6:00pm on Thursday, July 3rd to 11:59pm on Sunday.
There were two non-DUI-related fatal crashes that resulted in two fatalities. There were no DUI-related crashes. There were 25 DUI arrests, which is up nine compared to 2024, but down six compared to 2023.
